  Campers will create beads, sculptures, masks, and other artifacts  from clay, paper mâché and Paverpol.

Campers will create wind chimes, kites, and other creative craft projects.

Course Description:

This class will help you increase your basic drawing techniques using pencil, charcoal and color pencils our subjects will be still life objects as well as people.  We will use a variety of drawing applications such as shading, perspective in drawing and composition, giving you the tools to produce your own world on paper. So let’s think creatively and have fun.

Paverpol Instructor Certification
Level 1

Tuition: $385

You will learn all the basic techniques of using Paverpol, Pavercolor, Pavercotton, Relief Decoration and other products. Projects will include sitting and standing figurines, and a standing abstract sculpture. You will develop your skills in armature building, wet and dry wrapping, and draping. You will learn the basic elements and principles of design as you create your pieces.

Jewelry Making with Silver

(Silversmith)

This course will emphasize the use of basic jewelry techniques and design i.e., bending, sawing, filing, sanding, piercing, polishing and soldering.

Introduction to Painting Techniques and Media

(Ages 11-14)

This class will introduce students to the three major types of painting media: acrylic, watercolor, and oil.

Students practice basic motor skills as they explore the visual and tactile arts. Emphasis is placed on problem solving skills while utilizing common materials and methods as classic design and composition principles are kinesthetically learned.

   Print and fill in the registration form. Choose one of the following payment methods below.

·         Fax: Send completed form to 770-682-0522. Fax registration is available if you are making a payment with a credit card.

·         Phone: Call 770-696-1350. Phone registration is available if you are making a payment with a credit card.

·         Mail: Mail the completed form with a check (made payable to Roberts Lowe Studios) or credit card information to Roberts Lowe Studios, 395 Scenic Highway, Lawrenceville, Georgia 30045.

·         Walk-in: Bring completed form with check, cash, or credit card to Roberts Lowe Studios.

·         Online:  Summer Art Programs online registration.

 

 There is a $35 fee for returned checks

Refund and Cancellation Policy


Refund Policy
: Refunds are only given if cancellation is made at least 3 business days before the first class meeting.  Refund is 25% less of class fee.  NO REFUNDS OR TRANSFERS WILL BE MADE AFTER THAT TIME.

Roberts Lowe Studios is not responsible for classes missed due to student absence. Please discuss any unavoidable absence with your instructor.

 

Cancellation Policy: All classes require sufficient enrollment to commence. Roberts Lowe Studios reserves the right to cancel or reschedule classes as necessary. We will make every effort to notify students of cancellation or postponement at least 24 hours prior to the first class.  Students may receive a full refund, or transfer to another class.
